Ministry of Agriculture makes official Irga on opening the Mexican market to Brazilian rice
This year, the volume of Brazilian rice authorized to enter Mexico with zero tariffs increased from 30 thousand to 75 thousand tons
Valtra launches the BS2225H, a self-propelled sprayer that serves farmers on small and medium-sized properties. The equipment has spray bar options of 25 and 28 meters and is equipped with the renowned and efficient AGCO Power 4-cylinder 174hp agricultural engine, providing fuel savings of up to 60%. The engine is factory approved according to the MAR-1 pollutant emissions standard.
“The new BS2225H is efficient and economical thanks to the spray bar performance and AGCO Power electronic motor. Furthermore, considering that the sprayer is the machine that works the hardest during the entire cultivation cycle, we invested in the development of extremely comfortable equipment, so that the operator can carry out long journeys in comfort and ergonomics. It is a fundamental machine for crop protection, guaranteeing profitability for the farmer”, guarantees the Sr. Product and Strategic Marketing Manager for Planting and Spraying at AGCO South America, Fabricio Müller.
The BS2225H, produced at the Mogi das Cruzes (SP) factory, has features that help rural producers in the search for efficiency and can increase productivity by up to two bags per hectare, such as the height and bar leveling sensor that improves distribution and droplet deposition. There is also a finishing tip valve that offers more safety when finishing crops, preventing damage to the bar. For better efficiency, it has PWM control, acting on the centrifugal spray pump, quickly stabilizing the rate with changes in the terrain, in addition to not depending on the engine rotation speed, which is very important for steep slopes, especially in the South and Southeast.
The equipment also has a flexible chassis with independent axles that, added to the permanent crossed 4x4 hydro transmission circuit, make it possible to operate on terrain with a slope of up to 32% depending on soil conditions, humidity and remnants of previous crops. The centralized cab and pneumatic seat guarantee operator comfort to face long working hours.
The technology on board, such as the automatic cutting of seven sections, the flow controller itself, the automatic control of height and leveling of bars, the automatic pilot, the possibility of operating with prescription maps previously prepared with data collection in the field, increase the operation experience, optimizing the resources used and increasing the efficiency of applications. In addition, Valtra has partnerships that integrate the agronomic solutions of the Farm Solutions technological package, for example, climate monitoring from Solinftec that helps rural producers in making application decisions.
