Ourofino Agrociência reinforces sustainability in partnership with Campo Limpo
New warehouse installed in the factory complex, in Uberaba (MG), will store Ecoplastic packaging, produced with 85% recycled materials
In a charitable action, Valtra, a specialist in the design and manufacture of agricultural machinery and implements, will auction the special edition BH224 HiTech tractor and the proceeds will be donated to the municipality's APAE and other charitable institutions. In 1960, the city received the brand's first factory in the country.
The auction of the BH224 HiTech in pearly white, whose special edition marked Valtra's 60 years in Brazil celebrated in 2020, will be entirely virtual. Bids, starting from R$600 thousand, are made exclusively through the Superbid Marketplace, the largest online transaction platform in Latin America and partner of the project, with over 20 years of experience in the auction segment.
“Solidarity is a special human value. May the donation of the amount raised from this auction, in addition to helping charitable institutions, inspire us to altruism and empathy”, highlights Alexandre Vinícius de Assis, Valtra sales director.
The BH224 HiTech line, which will have one unit auctioned, is part of the brand's broad portfolio. Tractors in this series maximize yield in the field with greater use of your planting area and are capable of increasing the number of hectares worked per hour by up to 8%. It is equipped with an intelligent HiTech3 PowerShift transmission, automatic modes to optimize operation, and an AGCO Power engine, which allows fuel savings of up to 10%.
Valtra, a company of Finnish origin, which since 2004 belongs to the North American multinational AGCO, has accumulated a series of firsts throughout its Brazilian history, starting with being the first tractor factory installed in Brazil in 1960. It was responsible for the first narrow tractor in the 1960s; the first tractor with a diesel ignition engine and alcohol torque in the 1970s; the first tractor with a cab and air conditioning in the 1990s; and the first brand in the segment to launch tractors with 4x4 traction on the Brazilian market and the pioneer in the continuously variable CVT transmission.
