Valtra's BH HiTech line arrives at Expointer 2018 with automatic transmission and five models

Valtra presents to the Expointer 2018 public the new line of BH HiTech tractors, with five models from 145 hp to 195 hp, and with PowerShift automatic transmission. “The BH HiTech models offer the right technology to rural producers, in a simple, accessible way and with the same robustness that makes the BH Line a leader in the segment”, says Winston Quintas, tractor marketing supervisor at Valtra.

At the agricultural fair, which takes place between August 25th and September 2nd in Esteio (RS), the BH194 HiTech model from the new line will be on display in gold color, a special launch edition, which brings all the technology of an automatic transmission to tractors . In the innovative BH HiTech Line, the big news is the HiTech3 transmission (HiTech “three") powershift with automatic shifting within groups, with 18 forward and 18 reverse speeds. It adds to the fourth generation of the BH Line, launched in 2017 and which today has seven engine options.

the transmission Powershift it can be operated manually with speed changes using buttons or through one of the two automatic programming modes, which change the speed automatically according to the predefined speed. “With the HiTech3 transmission, the operator can change gears in a simpler way, with the simple touch of a button, making it a differentiator in operations that require gear changes”, adds Quintas.

Another new feature is the electro-hydraulic reverser Power Shuttle, which allows driving directions to be changed using a lever, without the need to operate the clutch. The transition is always made smoothly, quickly and with protection, allowing the machine's direction to be reversed only at speeds below 2 km/h.

The BH HiTech Line is made up of the BH144 HiTech (145 hp), BH154 HiTech (159 hp) and BH184 HiTech (180 hp) models with 4-cylinder engines and the BH174 HiTech (179 hp) and BH194 HiTech (195 hp) models with 6 cylinder engines.

The Line's models also feature the N Auto which disengages PowerShift every time the brake pedal is pressed, or if the engine speed drops below 1.020 rpm, engaging it again above 1.020 rpm or when the operator takes his foot off the brake.

A4 family

Valtra will also launch at Expointer 2018, to the public in Rio Grande do Sul, five new models of the A Geração 4 family: three for the A4s Series, new to the brand, and two more that add to the A4 Series, presented last year. The A4s Series models range between 75 hp and 95 hp, and have a compact chassis, ideal for small and medium-sized properties or operations that require lower power. The A94 and A104 models, from the A4 Series, are suitable for medium power, offering 95 hp and 105 hp, respectively.

Available in cab and platform versions, the Family tractors have a resistant 12+12 or 24+24 mechanical transmission with the Super Reducer with the best gear shifting, depending on the model, and electro-hydraulic reverser PowerShuttle, which provides gains in agility during maneuvers, in addition to adjusting the launch according to the type of operation.

“The A4 Family now has 11 different tractors, offering platform or cab options, mechanical or automatic transmission, with varying powers, dimensions and flow rates. With this entire portfolio, Valtra brings versatility, efficiency, robustness and technology to each type of property”, says Quintas.

The A4 Family offers the system HiShift, which allows the operator to change gears by simply pressing a button on the gear lever, without the need to use the clutch pedal, providing greater smoothness in coupling and ease of operation. Another new feature that brings greater versatility to the machines is the reducer Super Creeper, which allows operations at a minimum speed of 0,15 km/h.

Best-in-class ergonomics, combined with a low noise level (75 dB), ensures that the A4 Family offers a comfortable experience in any situation. The cab structure is narrow at the front to facilitate driving in warehouse areas and visibility in operations. As options, the producer can choose two hydraulic flow rates, 57 or 98 l/min, in addition to several remote control valve configuration options. The A4 Series was elected Machine of the Year by a commission of independent journalists at Sima Show 2017, an agricultural fair held in Paris (France) and considered the largest in the world.

In addition to the HiTech4 automatic transmission differential, the A4 HiTech models are prepared to receive Fuse Technologies features, such as the Auto-Guide 3000 cruise control and telemetry control through AgCommand.
