Valmont Irrigation, manufacturer of Valley brand irrigation equipment, is strengthening its presence in the Latin American market, having announced the opening of two new strategic offices in the cities of São Paulo, Brazil, and Monterrey, Mexico.

São Paulo

Renato Silva, general manager of Valmont Irrigation in Brazil, says the new offices will allow customers to do business more easily and efficiently. "São Paulo is known as the financial capital of Brazil. That's where our main clients have their central offices. Therefore, this new space will allow us to meet them more frequently and more easily."

Additionally, Silva notes that the new location will save customers time and money. "The new Brazilian headquarters is located in one of the most important neighborhoods in São Paulo, less than 35 km from Guarulhos International Airport, a prominent distribution center. This will further benefit our customers by allowing Valley Resellers to all parts of Brazil meet here, collaborate and promote their training in industry-leading services and technologies."

Monterrey

Similarly, Monterrey is one of the most important cities in Mexico, both financially and industrially, and is geographically closest to the United States, making it the ideal place for a new Valmont Irrigation office. The new office has the added advantage of being located in a Valmont Utility factory.

With the new office, Valmont will continue to help farmers produce food more efficiently and sustainably, says André Ribeiro, general manager of Valley Latin America. "This new location will bring us closer to customers and distributors and allow us to continue the development of precision irrigation in agriculture and the use of solar energy in Mexico and Latin America."

Like the São Paulo office, the Monterrey location consists of a modern space with showrooms for Valley solutions. The location will also be used for training and development, continually improving the quality of services offered to Latin American clients. Additionally, adds Ribeiro, Monterrey will have a permanent inventory of Genuine Valley Parts ready to ship to customers, reducing delivery times during a time when the pandemic continues to impact the global supply chain.

Presence in Latin America

João Rebequi, Vice President of Valmont Latin America, emphasizes the importance of the region. “The growth potential of irrigated agriculture throughout Latin America is immense,” he says. "We are confident that bringing the links even closer together in strategic distribution centers will develop our brand and promote the adoption of our industry-leading technology solutions in sustainable agriculture, precision irrigation and renewable energy."
