On April 11, Pacific Aerospace and the Brazilian Aerie Aviação Executiva signed a representation contract for the single-engine P-750 XSTOL in the Brazilian market. Aerie will be the exclusive representative in the country and the focus will be on serving businesspeople, entrepreneurs and companies that need a multi-tasking aircraft, with the reliability that only a turboprop equipped with a PT6A-34 engine and with the unique characteristics of this aircraft, can provide.

“We are betting on the resumption of growth and demand that has been held back for almost a year, in which many companies or individuals postponed their purchasing decisions", said Cassio Polli, director of Aerie Aviação Executiva. The initial focus will be on the Central-West, Northeast and North, where the need for a utility plane to transport passengers, freight and cargo is greater, including demand from the agribusiness sector, among other segments.

The ability to connect between urban centers and remote areas from the north to the south of the country is one of the differences of the P-750 XSTOL (Extremely Short Take-Off and Landing). Currently, commercial aviation serves approximately 100 cities across the country, but in total there are more than 5 thousand municipalities. To reach these destinations, it is necessary to use the more than 3 thousand available aerodromes, many of them without asphalt, with short, narrow or irregular runways, restricting the type of aircraft to be used.

“The P-750 XSTOL is a true Air Utility, with the versatility of the quick conversion system, which switches from the passenger to cargo version in a few minutes, just by removing the seats. It is a “jack of all trades", for work or leisure, in the city, beach, farm or countryside, and is perfectly sized for the Brazilian reality", highlights the CEO of Pacific Aerospace Damian Camp.

According to Polli, the expectation is to sell 3 aircraft this year in Brazil, the average equipped price is around US$1,9 million in New Zealand. It already has domestic financing options, terms of 36 to 60 months and import structure with Trading route, tax benefits.

Pacific Aerospace is based in Hamilton, New Zealand, 65 years of existence and more than 600 aircraft produced, also considering the previous models FU-24 Fletcher and Cresco. It has a strong presence in the Asia-Pacific, Europe and Africa axis and recently began a global expansion project, focusing on the Americas, initially including the United States, Argentina and Brazil.

In technical terms, the P-750 XSTOL in private use carries 8 passengers and has a payload capacity of 3,900 lbs or 1,769 kg, even on hot days and altitude. The P-750 XSTOL single-engine turboprop is extremely robust and reliable, easy to operate, maintain and have low operating costs. Produced by Pacific Aerospace, it uses globally supported components from established companies such as Pratt & Whitney Canada, Garmin, Hartzell and Honeywell. The P-750 XSTOL is already approved in Brazil and has an Authorized Service Center, Japi Aeronaves, in Jundiaí/SP.
