UPL presents a success story at the 4th National Congress of Agribusiness Women

UPL will take a successful case of the Pronutiva plant health program to the 4th National Congress of Agribusiness Women, on October 8th, at 11:30 am, at Arena Master - Transamérica Expo Center, in São Paulo. 

In April, Bem Brasil, a pre-fried potato processor in Brazil, achieved international certification of good agricultural practices – Good Agricultural Practices (GlobalGAP) – with support from UPL, which offered solutions and helped the process of adapting properties.

“The Pronutiva program, our package of solutions that brings together crop protection and the most modern biosolutions technologies, was an important part of the process that resulted in international certification”, informs the Commercial Director of Specialties at UPL Brasil, Marcelo Gardel.

The process of adapting Bem Brasil's properties lasted 18 months and considered all links in the production chain – from the farm to the final consumer. “We are proud to contribute to the growth and improvement of Brazilian agribusiness, an objective that we also witnessed at the congress”, says Gardel.

In addition to Marcelo Gardel, Maritsa Roberta Santos, representative of Bem Brasil Alimentos, will be present. The debate will be mediated by journalist José Luiz Tejon and designer Marco Zanini.

Engaged in the training of female leaders, UPL, which will have a stand at the congress, will also value the protagonism of women involved in agribusiness, especially those who participated in the process that ended with certification, such as Ana Paula Rocheto, from Bem Brasil. She was actively involved in the management and implementation of the project, focusing on producing food safely and with higher quality for the final producer.
