With 4-speed transmission, Axial-Flow Series 150 is for all producer profiles
Case IH brings its latest line of grain harvesters, the Axial-Flow Series 150, to the Coopavel Rural Show
UPL highlights Evolution, its new technology to combat the complex of fungal diseases in soybeans, at the Show Rural Coopavel 2022. Evolution is the company's main attraction at the event, which will be in person and takes place from February 7th to 11th in Cascavel (PR ). The UPL stand is located in the Green Area, with main access via Avenida Show Rural.
"Evolution is a fungicide with an innovative formulation. It combines three different modes of action that complement each other and are highly effective in protecting soybeans against growing health challenges and in managing resistance", explains agronomist Bruna Prior, operational manager at UPL in the South Region. "The product is the result of a long research process and has already been successfully tested in several planting areas throughout Brazil."
Fungi are the main enemies of soybean productivity. Without proper treatment, they can cause losses of up to 80% of the harvest! Evolution is effective against the five main diseases that compromise the success of the crop: anthracnose, leaf blight, target spot and powdery mildew, in addition to the already known – but still feared – Asian rust, the popular name of Phakopsora pachyrhizi.
"UPL's new solution has multisite technology, a concept created by UPL that offers simultaneous action of different active ingredients at different points in the fungi's metabolism, reducing the possibility of resistance. Evolution reaches the market for use at different moments of the fungi's cultivation cycle soybeans, providing greener and healthier plants and increasing the quality of production", says the specialist.
UPL's participation in the Rural Show, an event promoted by Coopavel, has four technological stations. In addition to Evolution, the Indian company highlights the fight against weeds – which are common not only in soybeans, but also in corn. With the recent launch of the Lifeline-Sync product, UPL offers farmers the first national market formulation of S-Metolachlor with Glufosinate, essential tools for combating weeds and managing resistance.
In addition to fungi and weeds, agricultural crops suffer from insects. In soybeans, the constant concern is with whiteflies and stink bugs. In corn, in addition to stink bugs, leafhoppers keep producers up at night. Against all these problems, UPL presents at the Rural Show the high efficiency of Sperto, recognized for its long and residual shock action against sucking pests, qualities that immediately stop damage to crops.
"Another new feature of UPL at the event is Natural Plant Protection (NPP), a brand that consolidates the broad portfolio of inputs and technologies of natural and biological origin worldwide", explains the company's regional manager. “NPP also encompasses a network of laboratories and research and development facilities,” she adds.
NPP (acronym in English for "natural plant protection") has a global presence to shape and scale the biosolutions of the future, based on UPL's OpenAg purpose – which positions it as a company open to innovation and the development of technologies that benefit sustainable food production in collaborative agriculture.
