UPL shows its portfolio at the XXI Brazilian Seed Congress. "This important event is an excellent opportunity to present effective solutions to benefit the protection and quality of agricultural crops to technicians, producers, researchers, university professors and students", explains Bruno Carloto, seed treatment and soil health manager at UPL Brazil.
“During the congress, we discussed our exclusive Pronutiva program, which integrates the use of crop protection solutions with the most modern biosolution technologies. Biosolution technologies include biological and innovative nutrition products, as well as physioactivators”, adds Carloto, who is an agronomist and has a master's degree in agrobiology.
One of the company's highlights is Vitavax-Thiram 200 SC, a systemic fungicide with multi-crop and multi-target action. It is the first and only seed treatment containing carboxamide and multisite action on the market, with contact and systemic action. Scientifically proven, it helps farmers manage resistance and control enemies such as white mold.
Against the complex of pests that affect the soil and seeds, UPL takes to the Start congress, which offers intelligent protection from the beginning of the cultivation cycle. Composed of fipronil, the product offers scientifically proven efficacy and selectivity, which ensure the fight against the main insects in various crops.
"The Biozyme physioactivator is also present at the UPL stand. Efficient as a seed treatment, its formulation contains macro and micronutrients combined with hydrolyzed plant extracts, which provide improvements in various metabolic and physiological processes of plants, contributing to greater productivity" , highlights Carloto.
Biozyme is part of the portfolio of Natural Plant Protection (NPP), UPL's global business unit that encompasses the company's broad portfolio of agricultural inputs and technologies of natural and biological origin, with a focus on sustainable and regenerative agriculture. Launched in 2021, NPP has a worldwide network of laboratories and research and development facilities.
