UPL participates in the International Application Technology Symposium

UPL participated in the IX International Symposium on Application Technology (Sintag), between September 9th and 11th, in Campo Grande (MS). The company's objective, in addition to encouraging discussions on the topic, was to promote the best application of agricultural products, to obtain better results.

“The application technologies currently available enable the responsible use of phytosanitary products and their correct placement on the biological target, be it a weed, an insect or a pathogen”, explains the application technology coordinator at UPL Brasil, Sergio Decaro.

According to Decaro, PhD in agronomy from Universidade Estadual Paulista (Unesp), knowledge about application technologies allows products to be used at the most opportune times, thinking about the target and the environment, providing savings for the producer and reducing environmental contamination. .

“UPL encourages good agricultural practices in the application of its products and has promoted the theme of 'application technology' through training programs, such as Aplique Bem, through informative materials and the UPspray application, so that the farmer can take advantage of the full potential of UPL products, in a way that is safe for the applicator and the environment”, explains Decaro.

The symposium, organized by the Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul (UFMS) and the Agricultural and Forestry Studies and Research Foundation (Fepaf), was held at the Rubens Gil de Camillo Convention Center and had as its main theme “Recent evolution and technological innovations ”.
