UPL highlights solutions for soy at the Technological Show

UPL presents its portfolio for soybean crops to rural producers, during the Summer Technological Show, promoted by Fundação ABC, on February 19th and 20th, in Ponta Grossa (PR).

“The ABC Foundation is an important partner of UPL in the region and this event contributes greatly to the dissemination of information about pests that harm crops, such as fungi and weeds”, says Daniel Luckmann, market developer at UPL Brasil in the region.

Against fungi, UPL presents two products: Tridium and Unizeb Gold. The first is the company's commitment to intelligent management in pre-closing between the lines. The solution prevents Asian rust and provides greener, more efficient and productive plants.

“Unizeb Gold is renowned in the market, being a reference as a multisite for the reproductive phase of soybeans”, informs Luckmann. “Recently, we found in field research that 98% of farmers who used this fungicide had increased productivity and efficiency in fungus management.”

For pest control, the highlight is the Sperto insecticide. “This is an effective resource to immediately stop damage. It is a long-term effective solution against bedbugs and whiteflies, as well as other insects that concern farmers”, highlights the market developer.

The UPL is also paying attention to pigweed (Amaranthus Hybridus), a weed that has gained resistance across the country. “Our portfolio includes the pre-emergent herbicide Alia, which has high performance against infestations of this weed species”, concludes Daniel Luckmann.
