Fever Mobilidade, a hub for sustainable mobility solutions in green logistics, launches exclusively on the Brazilian market the unprecedented Fever Alkè ATX 340 EH, a 100% electric compact truck, imported from Italy, which arrives as an alternative to the tractor for intra-city use. company, whether on farms, industrial plants or other locations.
Attentive to the current situation in agribusiness, which is expected to have a more challenging 2024 due to the projection of a smaller harvest, adverse weather conditions and still high interest rates, Fever Mobilidade brings an option with a quick return on investment, cost reduction, in addition to a positive impact on demands sustainability of the sector and carbon footprint, as it does not emit gases into the atmosphere. The cases analyzed by Fever in the European market in which producers replaced small diesel/gasoline tractors with electric vehicles such as the Fever Alkè indicate a gain of 30% in operational efficiency and up to 90% in current fuel and maintenance costs.
With 42 body combinations to transport heavy loads (load capacity of 1,6 tons and towing capacity of up to 4,5 tons) and space for up to 4 passengers in the cabin, the vehicle has 200km of autonomy and a battery that can be fully recharged in up to 3,5 hours and used during a working day of more than 8 hours. Its intelligent dimensions allow access to areas that traditional vehicles are not able to enter. An example is the spraying of orchards in spaces that only small tractors would access, but can also collect crops without damaging crop roots, help with cleaning activities, support larger machines, among others.
“In addition to much greater productivity than a combustion vehicle, the Fever Alkè ATX 340 EH brings a concrete improvement to the routine in the work environment, as it eliminates the loud noises of traditional engines, does not require fuel storage tanks and fueling is always done without offering risks to the worker. With a healthier and safer environment, business results are directly impacted”, explains Nelson Füchter Filho, CEO of Fever Mobilidade.
The growing demand for fleet electrification arises due to several factors, such as economy, efficiency, sustainability and the fact that electricity cannot be manipulated or altered. “Currently transporting and storing fuel to confined areas is a huge problem for companies that need continuous supply. One of the main reasons for failures and defects in the vehicles used is the quality of the fuel available. When it opts for an electric vehicle, this problem no longer exists”, comments the executive.
“Thinking about leveraging the sector, we are bringing cutting-edge technology to Brazil, which has enormous potential. In addition to use in agribusiness, this vehicle can be adapted in other scenarios such as ports and airports, mineral extraction, logistics centers, among others”, he adds.
With just 3 months of launch, Fever Mobilidade offers vehicles aimed at last-mile logistics, for purchase or rental by subscription, and more than 16 dealerships across the country. Soon, Fever will also have stores in Recife, Goiânia and Brasília.
