The National Union of Federal Agricultural Tax Auditors (Anffa Sindical) expressed support for the Complementary Bill (PLP) presented by federal deputy Márcio Honaiser, which prohibits the limitation of commitment and financial movement of expenses related to agricultural defense. The initiative contributes to ensuring the continuity and efficiency of activities essential to agricultural defense in Brazil.
Agricultural defense is a fundamental pillar for food security, public health and the country's economy. Contingencies in the area compromise the response capacity and execution of essential actions, such as health inspection, pest and disease control, and certification of products for export.
“With this, the approval of this PLP ensures that these activities are not harmed by budget cuts, guaranteeing the protection of our agribusiness and the maintenance of the quality of Brazilian agricultural products”, states the president of the union, Janus Pablo Macedo.
Anffa Sindical reinforces that it is committed to supporting all measures that strengthen the agricultural sector and ensure the maintenance of the activities of federal agricultural tax auditors in favor of consumer safety.
