Unigel strengthens the company's top leadership

Unigel - one of the largest chemical companies in Latin America and the largest manufacturer of nitrogen fertilizers in the country - announces organizational changes in its executive board: José Roberto Marquis takes over as Industrial Executive Director and Ricardo Del Razo is the company's new Technology director.

Marquis is an executive with almost 30 years of activity in the chemical sector, 20 of which were dedicated to Unigel. He was in charge of the production units in São Paulo and Sergipe in the industrial area, as well as the corporate areas of Sustainability, Quality, Health, Safety and Environment. In his new role, he will also be responsible for all industrial operations. He is a chemical engineer graduated from FEI - Faculdade Engenharia Industrial, postgraduate in Industrial Administration and Management and Environmental Technologies from USP - University of São Paulo and in Safety Engineering from Universidade Santa Cecília. He also has an MBA in Business Management from FGV - Fundação Getúlio Vargas.

I have had the opportunity to develop initiatives and participate in important milestones for the company over these 20 years, and now I take on the challenge of unifying and expanding these actions across all Unigel units, always focusing on sustainable growth”, concludes Marquis.

Del Razo has extensive experience in the digital and industrial sectors, having worked in several countries at companies such as GE and Grupo SADA. The executive has a degree in Computer Science and a master's degree in Information Technology Management from the Instituto Tecnológico de Monterrey in Mexico, in addition to specializations focused on entrepreneurship and innovation from MIT - MIT and Stanford University Graduate School of Business, in the United States.
