Unesp selects students for postgraduate studies in Agribusiness and Development

The Postgraduate Program in Agribusiness and Development (PGAD) at Universidade Estadual Paulista (Unesp) in Tupã receives, until November 6, 2020, applications for master's and doctoral courses, starting in 2021.

PGAD offers up to 18 places for a master's degree and 22 for a doctorate, in the program's two lines of research: “Development and Environment” and “Competitiveness of Agro-industrial Systems”.

The program welcomes professionals from different areas of training, promoting interdisciplinary studies and research and training human resources for scientific research and teaching, capable of working in public and private institutions.

Candidates must register via Online Registration System from Unesp and pay a registration fee of R$ 73. In addition, they must send the following documents through the System: proof of payment of the registration fee, registration application, 3x4 face photo, identity card, CPF, title voter registration certificate, reservist certificate for male candidates, diploma or certificate of completion and transcript of the master's course for doctoral candidates, diploma or certificate of completion and transcript of the undergraduate course for master's degree candidates, proof of language proficiency in English for doctoral candidates, pre-research project, scientific production score form and proof of the form.

The selection process for the doctorate will have four stages: the first verifies proof of language proficiency in English, the second is a dissertation test, the third, analysis of the candidate's Lattes curriculum and the last consists of the analysis and argument of the pre- project.

For the master's degree, the selection process will have three stages: essay test in the first, analysis of the Lattes curriculum in the second, and analysis and discussion of the pre-project.
