UNESP holds the 7th edition of ENCITROS

UNESP/FCFAR holds the 7th edition of the Citrus Technical and Scientific Meeting | ENCITROS 2019, on May 30th, from 08:30 am to 17:15 pm, at CEAR - Centro de Eventos de Araraquara e Região. The event, which is a reference in research and application of technologies associated with the citrus market in Brazil, aims to bring investment, knowledge and socioeconomic development to the sector, in addition to bringing together citrus and market professionals.

The 2019 program will cover several important topics for citrus farming, such as:

The Orange Harvest Estimate; Production and Characterization of Citrus in Brazil and the World; Challenges and Perspectives of the Orange Juice Market in Brazil and the World; Citrus Aromas: Overview and Trends; Bioactive Phenolic Compounds from Orange Juice; Critical Polymethoxyflavone Metabolic Action on VLDL – Cholesterol; Emerging Technologies in Food Processing: Improving Food Safety and Nutrition; University and Industry Integration - The Search for sustainability in the citrus sector.

The 7th Edition of ENCITROS has the support of CitrusBR, JBT, Flavor Tec, PRODALIM, Suco Prat's, Refrigerantes Garoto, Octobox, Fundecitrus, Grupo Gens, Bild Desenvolvimento Imobiliário, in addition to the Municipality of Araraquara, which included the event in the municipal calendar , highlighting the importance of the municipality in the sector.
