New USDA reestimate reduces Florida orange harvest to 54 million boxes
The number is still 20% lower than the total produced in the 2019/20 harvest, which ended at 67,7 million boxes
Enrollment for the course is now open. Master in Business Administration (MBA) in Environmental Management and Technologies, offered by the Sorocaba Campus of the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar), with classes in Sorocaba and São Paulo. The specialization is aimed at graduates of higher education courses who want more knowledge in environmental management and associated technologies, for professional work with a focus on sustainability.
The MBA was planned in the context recommended by the United Nations (UN), that the transfer of environmental technologies must also include the aspects and choice of technology and development of human resources necessary to strengthen public and private institutions.
The course is blended, lasting 18 months and in-person classes on alternate Saturdays, from 8 am to 17 pm. Classes will be opened in São Paulo (at an address on Av. Paulista) and Sorocaba (with meetings on the UFSCar Campus). If social isolation recommendations persist, classes scheduled to be in person will be distance learning. The MBA activities begin on March 6th, with the lecture "Socio-environmental responsibility and innovations in sustainability management", given by a guest speaker.
