The 22nd edition of Expodireto Cotrijal, which takes place between the 7th and 11th of March in Não-Me-Toque (RS), has the participation of Trimble. This year the brand presents solutions in precision agriculture for planting with rate control for seeds and fertilizers, selective application of pesticides in the crop, operation monitoring and application control, autopilot system, connected farm, among other tools. Visitors will be able to take a closer look, for example, at solutions such as the new GFX-350 monitor and the WeedSeeker 2 selective application system.
Producers in the region looking to enter or increase the use of precision agriculture technologies will be able to check out the Trimble GFX-350. In addition to maximum resistance and robustness, the monitor can be installed on tractors with or without a cabin and is also compatible with the most modern Trimble receivers and pilots, allowing the producer to add and pay for features, according to the property's needs.
The monitor also stands out for its ease of use, as it has an Android operating system, just like smartphones, and for the simplicity of transferring the equipment between different machines. The system is used and can be recommended for different types of crops and properties.
Lígia Amaral, Marketing and Communications Manager at Trimble Agriculture in Latin America, highlights that Trimble's focus is to offer farmers technologies that are easy to use and simplify their daily lives. “All this to make agriculture an increasingly productive, profitable and sustainable activity”, says Lígia.
She also adds that “the tools that make up Trimble's precision agriculture system have a difference in that they are highly intuitive, that is, with some guidance, the operator can use and start the work”. At the Trimble stand at the fair, visitors will be able to see how these technologies work in spaces dedicated exclusively to them.
Technology for more productivity
At the event, producers from Rio Grande do Sul will be able to see a range of technologies, starting with solutions aimed at planting, such as the Field-IQ ISOBUS, equipment that is easy to install on implements that enable line-by-line control of planting, as well as control of fertilizer and seed rate. With it, the farmer will be able to control up to 96 sections of the planter, with automatic shutdown of the lines. This technology helps the producer to eliminate failures and overlaps, which results in an increase in productivity and mainly input savings.
Trimble technology monitors and analyzes seed distribution, population, singulation and seed spacing to achieve better productivity results. So that the operator can focus his attention solely on the planting operation, Trimble also offers guidance technologies for implements, such as TrueGuide. Suitable for cereal crops, this solution corrects the position of the implement by moving the tractor, without requiring adaptation to the implement.
If greater precision is required, as in the case of potatoes and some vegetables, the TrueTracker solution is recommended, which corrects the position of the implement itself. Visitors to Expodireto will also be able to see the WeedSeeker 2 (WD2) selective application system live, using an advanced optical sensor, which has red and infrared light, and processing power. The system detects and applies herbicides to weeds individually, promoting a reduction in the use of inputs inversely proportional to the infestation of the applied field, reaching savings of up to 95% in herbicides.
The WS2 will be available at the Trimble stand so that producers can get a closer look at the technology that adapts to all types of sprayers on the market, without the need to invest in new equipment. During Expodireto, visitors will be able to ask questions not only about the system, but about the entire range of products that make up Trimble's precision agriculture solutions.
José Carlos Bueno, Latin America commercial director for agriculture at Trimble for Latin America, notes that producers in the region will find solutions for different types of crops and property sizes. “We are pleased to, once again, bring cutting-edge news and technologies to Expodireto. We work hard to offer farmers solutions that are truly capable of contributing to the development of their business,” he says.
Find out more about some of the solutions on display at the brand's stand:
Trimble GFX-350 is Trimble's newest guidance monitor. This light bar also helps to accurately monitor and map information collected in the field, from its use on the agricultural machine, in real time. The operating system is based on Android technology and is intuitive to use, making it easy to use. This solution offers great functionality in day-to-day production, allowing better management of the cultivated area.
WeedSeeker 2 is Trimble's selective spraying system, capable of generating savings of up to 95% in herbicides. Using advanced optics and processing power, the system detects and applies pesticides only to weeds, thus reducing the use of herbicides.
Correction signalTrimble RTX is the best high-precision signal correction system on the market. The CenterPoint RTX correction signal is the only one with proven repeatability and is the most stable and robust solution for flicker moments compared to any other solution on the market.
NAV-900 Receiver works with more constellations and, therefore, the GNSS signal (satellite navigation system similar to GPS) has a much shorter convergence time and a more robust performance with greater precision.
Expodireto Cotrijal takes place from March 07th to 11th in Não-Me-Toque (RS). The Trimble booth is number 264 and is located at the end of Avenue D on the right.
