Trimble announces new CEO and management changes in Brazil

José Carlos Bueno takes on the role of commercial director of the agricultural division for Latin America

Trimble announces Robert G. Painter to succeed Steven W. Berglund as president and CEO of Trimble as of January 4, 2020. In Brazil, Carlos Alberto Pinto Nogueira, currently responsible for managing the company in the country, assumes vice-presidency Global, and José Carlos Ferraz Bueno, becomes the new Commercial Director for Latin America of the agricultural division.

Painter joined Trimble in 2006 and initially served in corporate development and general management roles in construction telematics and a j. In 2015, he was named vice president of the construction software segment. In 2016, he was appointed global head of the financial area. Prior to Trimble, Painter held strategy, operational and consulting roles and holds a bachelor's degree in finance from West Virginia University and an MBA from Harvard Business School. David G. Barnes arrives to occupy the financial area.

Changes in Brazil

Executive with almost 30 years of experience in business development in the industry, Carlos Alberto Pinto Nogueira has a degree in Engineering and Accounting with an MBA. He held management positions in companies such as General Motors, Motorola and General Electric, where he also completed GE's acclaimed Management Development Course in the United States. In 2012, he took on the role of Executive Director at Trimble, creating the American multinational's entire operation in Brazil.

José Bueno is an agronomist from ESALQ/USP and has an MBA from FGV. He worked at CNH Industrial for 12 years and was ultimately responsible for developing the company's precision agriculture and construction area throughout Latin America. In 2012, he took on the role of regional distribution manager for Trimble in Mercosur.
