Recognized for data collection and development of historical series such as SIFRECA (Freight Information System), SIARMA (Storage Information System) and SIPPOC (Post-Harvest Loss Information System), the ESALQ-LOG Group used its extensive experience, knowledge in agro-industrial logistics and historical bases of more than 20 years to develop the ESALQ-LOG Analytics platform. In conjunction with other public databases, it is capable of producing on-demand reports that bring together all information regarding the composition of road transport costs for more than 400 routes.

The objective of each report generated by the tool, called “ECONOMIC ROUTE PROFILE” is to gather all available information about a given route, calculating the participation of numerous indicators in the final value of the transport cost.

The analysis includes factors such as altitude of the route, road freight prices, participation of tolls and fuel costs in the price of road freight, economic cost indices, economic inflation indices and other indicators relevant to the composition of transport costs. Each route analyzed is defined by the user, who receives all the information available from the crossing of the complete ESALQ-LOG database and the public domain. The material brings together everything from recent information to future forecasts, indicating trends in freight behavior.

The calculations in the reports are the result of the ESALQ-LOG Group's economic transport cost model, as each transport operator is subject to its own structure based on the prices of its inputs and their productivity.

On the ESALQ-LOG Group website, you can check some route models available in the new tool for free. In addition to three model routes (Sinop-Itaituba, Rio Verde-Santos, Sinop-Santos), the analyzes offer another 400 routes mapped by ESALQ-LOG, the result of SIFRECA data collection updated weekly since 1997.
