Titan Pneus do Brasil will show, starting tomorrow, March 7th, new launches of agricultural tires and news linked to field technology at Expodireto Cotrijal 2022, one of the main international agribusiness fairs, which will be held until the 11th of this month. month, in the municipality of Não-Me-Toque, in Rio Grande do Sul (RS).

The largest producer of tires aimed at Brazilian agriculture, the company has the most complete portfolio in the country. Its products serve various crops - such as rice farming and grain production, for example - favoring gains in efficiency and performance in agricultural operations, reduction in soil compaction and greater savings in fuel consumption.

news and releases

At the fair, Titan presents the R-2 tire line, suitable for tractors, harvesters and implements in flooded areas (rice farming). The launch ensures maximum performance in high-torque equipment, especially in flooded and muddy soils, ensuring better self-cleaning and less slipping, with great efficiency in agricultural work

Another novelty is the launch of the Titan TRT bias tire, developed to equip motor graders. Its reinforced casing, with different compounds in production, provides high resistance to cuts and punctures, as well as better lateral stability, self-cleaning and high retreading power.

In addition, the company presents its partnership with Orbia, an agricultural marketplace platform, which connects rural producers to a network of distributors and facilitates their processes with an online purchasing and selling tool for agricultural inputs and commodities. Orbia has the largest loyalty program in Brazilian agribusiness, with approximately 190 thousand registered users and partners who are leaders in their segments, such as Titan.

continuous investment

Titan invests annually in increasing its production capacity, in new technologies, in the growth of its product portfolio and in its presence in the field. In the 2021/2022 cycle, it confirmed an investment of R$60 million to enable better service to the needs of Brazilian farmers.

“There is a great demand for tires that began at the end of 2020. Even in the uncertain environment of the pandemic, the Brazilian agricultural sector did not stop for a minute. As a result, Titan grew approximately 50% in 2021. For 2022, we hope to further expand our presence in the field and increasingly meet the demand for tires and technology”, explains Luiz Marthe, Director of Sales and Marketing at Titan Pneus do Brasil .

The beginning

Titan began activities in Brazil in April 2011, by acquiring Goodyear's agricultural business and incorporating a factory that is over 70 years old, a true historical heritage located in São Paulo. Since then, it has established itself in the country as Titan Pneus do Brasil, where it accumulates the largest investment and the main industrial hub outside the United States, with a manufacturing unit located in the capital of São Paulo.

Last year, Titan celebrated 10 years since starting operations in the country. During this period, it became a reference in its segment of activity also in several countries in Latin America, a region that concentrates one of the largest markets for the company in the world. Currently, it has more than 1.800 direct and indirect employees, standing out in the production of a complete line of quality, resistant and high-tech tires for the agricultural and off-road markets, including conventional trucks and vans.
