TIM presented new digital solutions for agribusiness at Agrishow 2025. The main novelty was Smartbio Pragas, a system developed by SmartBreeder that combines data mining, the Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence to guide decisions in the field.
The platform integrates data from agricultural ERPs, weather stations and other sources to indicate where, when and how to apply inputs more efficiently. The system anticipates pest outbreaks up to 30 days in advance. The technology helps reduce losses, optimizes costs and automates actions based on pre-configured rules. The tool can be used on tablets directly in the field, allowing pests and diseases to be recorded in real time.
In addition to technological innovation, TIM announced a partnership with Orbia. The initiative allows producers to exchange points accumulated in input purchases for 4G connectivity. The “4G TIM no Campo” solution expands coverage in production areas.
The operator claims to cover more than 20 million hectares with 4G. Since 2022, its B2B IoT contracts have already totaled R$708 million. In 2024 alone, the value reached R$270 million.
