"A TIM's strategy is to ally itself with the main players in Brazilian agribusiness to position itself as the supplierindustry connectivity provider. The operator already surpassed two million hectares covered and has more than 20 direct and indirect partners to bring IoT solutions to the field. And, following its expansion strategy, today it celebrates the partnership with o AgTech Garage, that will allow the expansion of new partnerships and businesses", Alexandre Dal Forno, Head of Corporate Products and IoT at TIM Brasil.

AgTech Garage has around 300 startups with which they have relationships and idealize projects exclusively for rural solutions, regardless of what or where the rural producer's difficulty is - from planting to harvesting, going through all production processes. There are currently more than 25 partner companies that rely on the hub's help to develop their Open Innovation strategies. Additionally, at the moment, more than 200 startups are in the process of being curated for entry into the community. The partnership with TIM also foresees challenges for startups linked to the sector, which will be able to propose solutions for the operator's customers.

"It is a pleasure for AgTech Garage to have TIM as a partner, without a doubt a strong reinforcement for our network of partners, made up of leaders in their markets in Agribusiness. There was a lack of a leader with a specialist in connectivity, a fundamental area for the technological future in the field. In addition to TIM's technological know-how, we were pleased to see the engagement of people involved with the innovation ecosystem, developing all actions in a planned and strategic way", it says José Tomé, CEO of AgTech Garage.

The aim is to explore new businesses together with the operator's partners, continually monitoring the evolution of exponential technologies to create a better society.

"The partnership with AgTech Garage will allow the development of a more favorable environment for attracting new partners and strengthening our Open Innovation approach to the field. That way, we will expand the TIM ecosystem of customers and partners for agriculture, helping them solve their problems with technology and innovation in an increasingly connected and online world", rate Janílson BezerraHead of Innovation & Business Development at TIM Brasil.
