Third irrigated agriculture meeting in Central Brazil begins this Wednesday (12)

Event organized by CNA, Inovagri and sector entities takes place at the University of Brasília (UnB)

The Brazilian Agriculture and Livestock Confederation (CNA), Institute of Research and Innovation in Irrigated Agriculture (Inovagri), Embrapa and the Brazilian Irrigation and Drainage Association promote, on Wednesday (12) and Thursday (13), the 3rd Meeting of Irrigated Agriculture in Central Brazil at the University of Brasília (UnB).

This year's edition will debate the theme "Irrigated agriculture and the sustainability of agribusiness" with irrigating producers and institutions from the public and private sectors.

The event is free and will feature lectures, short courses and a business fair with companies, development agencies and associations. At the CNA stand, the public will find actions aimed at rural producers with a focus on irrigation.

The vice-president of the Confederation and president of the Federation of Agriculture and Livestock of the State of Goiás (Faeg), José Mário Schreiner, participates in the opening of the meeting, on Wednesday morning, and will be honored for his trajectory in defense of the agricultural sector and the irrigation.

In the afternoon, the technical advisor of the CNA National Irrigation Commission, Jordana Girardello, will speak about “Sustainable agriculture and the strength of sectoral representation”.

The meeting will also welcome caravans of students from various universities in the country, mainly from the Central-West region. To participate, you must register.
