Termotécnica expands presence at Hortitec 2019 with DaColheita line

With its DaColheita line, Termotécnica expands its presence at Hortitec 2019, in Holambra (SP), from June 26th to 28th. Manufacturer of EPS (Expanded Polystyrene) preservatives for fruits and having conquered markets such as the São Francisco Valley and the Southeast region, Termotécnica is constantly expanding its operations in agribusiness and diversifying its portfolio to serve new crops. At the fair, the company will show at its stand (nº 40 - blue sector), its solutions for papaya, mango, figs, healthy snacks, among others, and will highlight its internationally awarded solution at WorldStar.

Awarded by the WPO (World Packaging Organization), the WorldStar is the most important international award in the packaging market. Competing with more than 300 solutions from around the world, the DaColheita preservative for fruit bowl won in the Food and Save Food categories, receiving silver recognition as a solution to combat food waste. With the award, the DaColheita brand consolidates itself in post-harvest solutions, helping Brazilian fruits gain more prominence in international markets.

DaColheita preservatives are developed in EPS, 100% recyclable and aligned with the UN's Save Food initiative, which aims to reduce food waste throughout the production, distribution and consumption chain. With patented technology and designs, it allows high thermal insulation, ease of stacking and transportation. And, in this true race against time, from producer to consumer, DaColheita solutions extend the shelf-life of fruits by up to 30% while maintaining their nutritional properties.
