Innovation is one of the strong points of the Coopavel Rural Show, which will be held for its 37th edition in February. Due to the increasingly intense connection between technology and rural production, an exclusive environment for startups and innovation companies was created in 2019. The Digital Rural Show, which attracts national and international leaders of the digital revolution to Cascavel, will bring new features this year, such as themes that will be explored in depth on each of the five days of the technical event, from February 10 to 14.
“The goal of this new event is to have an even more comprehensive and exciting event, revealing to visitors innovations and transformative possibilities that will play a decisive role in the future of Brazilian and global agribusiness,” notes the general coordinator of the Show Rural Digital, José Rodrigues da Costa Neto. Each of the five official days of visits will be dedicated to a specific theme, with the presence of authorities on the subjects presented, as well as the holding of numerous activities and interactions.
The theme Ecosystem Connection will open the program on Monday, the 10th, and will highlight the role of the Iguassu Valley, an innovation ecosystem in Western Paraná of which Coopavel is a part. One of the main attractions will be the Iguassu Valley Show, held at the Arena Hackathon Paraná, bringing together actors from the innovation movement in activities aimed at generating knowledge and strengthening partnerships.
The second day, Tuesday the 11th, will focus on Cooperatives and Agroindustries of the Future. On that day, the Cooperatives IT Forum will be held together with an international event, which will feature the participation of representatives from Brazil, Chile, Paraguay and Argentina. The debate will focus on emerging technologies and innovative strategies that drive the sector, says Neto.
On Wednesday, the 12th, GovTech Conecta will be the highlight of the program. This theme will put the state government in the spotlight, promoting actions in partnership with entities such as Celepar, the Secretariat of Innovation and SETI (Digital Transformation). One of the main attractions of the day will be Catalisa Paraná, an initiative by Sebrae that will seek to encourage innovative solutions to government challenges.
The program will continue on Thursday, the 13th, with Investing Day, which promises to bring startups and investors closer together. Major market players, such as BRDE, Fomento Paraná, Embrapii and investment funds, will be present, creating real opportunities for business, says the coordinator of Show Rural Digital. With a practical approach, the event will connect entrepreneurs with accelerators and venture builders in search of promising projects.
Friday the 14th will be marked by Hack & Flavors, a fusion of innovation and tradition. While the Arena Hackathon Paraná will host intense competitions in the technology marathon, Sebrae will present a selection of typical foods from Paraná with Geographical Identification (GI). This proposal combines technology and culture, celebrating the state's richness in authentic flavors. "We want to surprise and show that innovation is and will continue to be a driving force for development in the countryside", points out José Rodrigues da Costa Neto.
