The assembly of stands for the Bahia Farm Show begins

With less than 15 days to go before the start of Bahia Farm Show 2018, the assembly of institutional and exhibitor spaces that confirmed their presence at the fair, considered one of the largest in the agricultural technology segment in the country, is in full swing. In an area of ​​144 thousand square meters, the stands of 200 exhibitors will be installed and will display approximately 900 brands, products and services during the 14th edition of the event, which begins on the 29th. The forecast is that over five days, 75 thousand people will visit by the Bahia Farm Show to see the most modern in the segments of agricultural machinery and equipment, inputs, fertilizers, seeds, irrigation, artesian wells, agricultural aviation, automobiles, trucks, among others.

The fair coordinator, Rosi Cerrato, informs that next week the assembly work will be intensified by the hired managers. “Our people from the commercial area are already at the Bahia Farm Show Complex offering all the necessary support to the teams hired by exhibitors and institutions to set up the stands. While still selling the spaces, exhibitors received a manual, which contains all the rules for assembly, disassembly and participation in the fair. It’s a way of working with organization and safety on site, conditioning the rights and duties inherent to each person”, she explains.

With 100% of the spaces sold, visitors will be able to check out the technologies in the covered pavilion, which will have 59 shelves; and in the external area, with 200 stands, where the main innovations in the agribusiness sector will be displayed. Safety and comfort will be guaranteed by the modern infrastructure available, with paved streets, 390 of which are covered. For those who stay there at lunchtime, it is possible to choose between two restaurants, in different styles – à la carte and self-service – well equipped to meet the growing public demand. The Bahia Farm Show Complex also has two auditoriums, an experimental field with research in the agricultural sector, as well as a test drive area with exhibitions and performances from the automotive sector, a medical station, restrooms, a leisure area, a forest of native species, a customer service center exhibitor and assembler and 24-hour security.

The Bahia Farm Show is organized by the Association of Farmers and Irrigators of Bahia (Aiba), with the support of the Bahia Association of Cotton Producers (Abapa), Fundação Bahia, Association of Agricultural Machinery and Equipment Dealers of Oeste da Bahia Ltda. (Assomiba) and Luís Eduardo Magalhães City Hall.
