Termotécnica presents DaColheita line at Fruit Logistica

Termotécnica, a leader in EPS packaging in Latin America, will present its DaColheita line at Fruit Logistica, the largest global event for fresh produce, which will take place from February 5 to 7 in Berlin, Germany. The line, known internationally as FarmFresh, was developed to optimize the storage and transportation of fruit over long distances, meeting the demands of strategic markets such as the European Union and China.

DaColheita packaging increases the shelf life of fruits by maintaining a constant temperature, reducing losses and waste, and reducing CO₂ emissions. In addition, they are lightweight, recyclable, and offer protection against impacts, reducing logistics costs and damage to the cargo. “They add value at all stages of the chain, from the field to the consumer,” says Nivaldo Fernandes de Oliveira, CEO of Termotécnica.

With 3.300 exhibitors and over 72 visitors expected, Fruit Logistica will be an opportunity to strengthen partnerships and conquer new markets, especially in the European Union, which leads global fruit imports. Since 2007, Termotécnica has recycled 48 million kilos of EPS, reinforcing its commitment to sustainability.
