Tereos, a company producing sugar, ethanol and electricity from sugar cane, is accepting applications for a startup challenge in partnership with the AgTech Garage innovation hub. The challenge's theme is “Automation in sugarcane planting” and aims to find technology solutions that help the company promote more assertiveness and productivity at this stage of the production chain. Startups interested in presenting their solutions to the company have until November 23rd to register.

The AgTech Garage is one of the main agribusiness innovation hubs, with more than 1000 startups in the virtual community and more than 80 large companies to stimulate and facilitate the development of innovative solutions in the sector. Tereos' partnership with the hub was signed in May this year, with the aim of boosting its projects in this area, establishing connections with relevant companies to add value to the business and obtaining more efficiency in processes through innovation.

For startups, the initiative is an opportunity to present and validate their technologies in partnership with one of the leading companies in the sugar-energy sector.
