FMC announces Sofero Fall against "Spodoptera frugiperda"
The product uses technology based on interrupting pest mating
The 22nd edition of Tecnoshow Comigo ended with impressive results: more than R$10 billion in business and a record attendance, with more than 140 thousand visitors between April 7th and 11th, in Rio Verde (GO). Held at the Comigo Technology Center (CTC), the fair reaffirms its relevance in the Brazilian agricultural calendar.
With 695 exhibitors, the event brought together technological innovations in machines, implements and supplies, in addition to promoting 65 lectures that attracted around 7.100 participants. The fair also took an important environmental step, with more than 53 thousand tons of recycled materials and actions towards carbon neutrality.
General coordinator Claudio Teoro celebrated the historic volume of business and the high level of satisfaction among exhibitors. Cooperativa Comigo, the event organizer, surpassed the R$1 billion mark in direct sales for the first time. Banco do Brasil reached a record R$2 billion in proposals received.
The impact on the local economy was also significant: according to Mayor Wellington Carrijo, Rio Verde's commerce earned R$90 million during the fair, an increase of 8,7%. The city also had maximum hotel occupancy and 285 air operations were registered.
Among the highlights of the program, topics such as innovation in the field, family succession and female protagonism in agriculture gained space. The next edition already has a set date: April 6-10, 2026.
