The Brazilian corn market begins 2020 with the prospect of firm prices and the keen eyes of major agribusiness decision-makers on what is most innovative for investment in the next harvests. From January 15th to 17th, in Canarana (MT), rural producers will be at Dinetec – considered the largest technological showcase in the Araguaia Valley, a region known for its significant agricultural production.

Among the new hybrids presented in demonstration plots is FS715, which brings gains in productivity, health and high tolerance to the stunting complex and viruses; and FS564, with a high production ceiling for the second harvest due to its stability and quality already proven in the field.

On the occasion, the most sought-after hybrids in the region will also be on display – the early FS500 and FS450, recognized for their high productivity and health –, in addition to the FS512 and FS533, with stability and broad adaptation that allow for staggering planting and harvesting.

The materials feature the new PowerCore Ultra (PWU) technology that acts on pest control and weed management, as well as Cruiser and Fortenza Duo industrial seed treatment, which protects the crop in its initial stages.

“The Cerrado requires corn cultivars that respond to its conditions. The combination of improved genetics, biotechnology and specificity has supported producers to reach a production ceiling above the average in the region, with quality and in a sustainable manner, contributing to the advancement of Brazilian agribusiness”, says the agronomist and market development manager at Forseed, Danimar Zanetti.
