Basf presents portfolio of connected offers at Show Rural Coopavel
Company offers solutions in seeds, pesticides and digital agriculture for efficient crop management
The 2022 edition of the Circuito Técnico Máxima Field Day takes place next Saturday (12), starting at 7am, in the Rondônia city of Ariquemes. The event will focus on the productivity of corn and soybean crops, the main crops in that region, an emerging agribusiness hub. Present among the leading companies in the agrochemical sector, Sipcam Nichino Brasil will be one of the highlights of the technical meeting, represented by the input distributor AgriConnection.
According to agricultural engineer Celso Sasaya, from AgriConnection, the field day program covers relevant information about the line of solutions from Sipcam Nichino, a company of Italian-Japanese origin, for soybeans, corn and grains in general. The “star products”, says Sasaya, will be the fungicides Fezan Gold, Vitene and Support and the herbicide Click.
Fezan Gold, as Sipcam Nichino points out, is one of the few fungicides on the market to combine systemic and multisite protective characteristics in the same formulation. For the company, this technology transfers effectiveness in the management of Asian rust, with control rates between 84% and 98%, in addition to helping to treat end-of-cycle diseases cercosopora, septoria, powdery mildew and target spot.
Support is described by the company as a systemic fungicide to be integrated into effective strategies for managing soybean diseases, such as leaf blight, powdery mildew, brown spot and white mold.
In the area of herbicides, the Click product, launched in 2021, won over corn producers across the country and supported the growth of Sipcam Nichino in the 2020-21 harvest, according to the company. The new molecule Terbuthylazine, the basis of the product, emphasizes the company, revolutionizing the management of difficult-to-control invasives, in the off-season and summer harvest.
Celso Sasaya adds that Click acts with a high standard of control over chicken-foot grass, an invasive considered challenging for corn producers around Ariquemes.
Another cutting-edge fungicide from the Italian-Japanese company, Vitene was also recently launched and will be presented to field day participants. According to Sipcam Nichino, this is a strategic “multiculture” solution for corn, cotton and beans. In corn, for example, Vitene delivers significant results in the control of cercosporiosis and polysora rust.
Created in 1979, Sipcam Nichino is the result of the union between the Italian Sipcam, founded in 1946, specialist in post-patent agrochemicals, and the Japanese Nihon Nohyaku (Nichino). Nichino became Japan's first agrochemical company in 1928, and since its arrival on the market it has focused on innovation and the development of new molecules for crop protection.
