Carlos Hentschke took on the role of "Brazil & Paraguay seeds business unit head" at Syngenta Seeds. He has over 20 years of experience at Corteva Agriscience, where he held various management positions. Hentschke has a degree in agronomy and an "Executive MBA". He expressed excitement about the new role and highlighted the importance of working at a company that "values ​​diversity, inclusion and sustainability."

Hentschke has experience in the agricultural sector. He worked for more than two decades at Corteva Agriscience. There, he held positions such as "national accounts & pasture business director" and "Latin America integrated operations director".

His joining that company occurred at a time when Pioneer, specializing in seeds, was independent. When the company was acquired by DuPont in 1999, Hentschke remained with the company. In 2012, he moved to DuPont. With the merger between DuPont and Dow, he remained at Corteva. The new head of the Syngenta Seeds business unit has a degree in agronomy from the Federal University of Santa Maria. He also has an "Executive MBA" from Fundação Dom Cabral.
