Syngenta is offering the first free online training focused on the "Legal Applicator Program", developed by the Ministry of Agriculture (Mapa). The company launched, through the Aplica Certo platform, the course "Qualification for Agricultural Pesticide Applicators". The action was highlighted during Expodireto Cotrijal 2025.
The course offered by Syngenta aims to comply with Ordinance 410/2022 of the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply (MAPA), which requires certification of all pesticide applicators in Brazil. With content on the correct use of agricultural pesticides, dosage, ideal time for application and environmental impacts, the training seeks to qualify professionals for safer and more efficient application, in addition to promoting the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
In parallel, Syngenta will also support the launch of the Conecta Platform, an initiative by CropLife Brazil. This platform is part of the Good Agricultural Practices Program and offers distance learning (EaD) training aimed at different professional profiles, such as farmers, technicians, students and researchers. The first course available is the Legal Applicator, focused on training agricultural pesticide applicators.
