Syngenta released information to the press about the "launch" of the insecticide Joiner (isocicloseram, CAS 2061933-85-3, Irac 30) for coffee crops and some vegetables and fruits. The Ministry of Agriculture registered the product on June 15 this year.
According to the company, Joiner is indicated for "control of the coffee borer, leaf miner and all species of mites, with immediate action and a long period of control".
"Joiner is an innovation that features 'Plinazolin technology' in its composition. The product was designed to offer coffee growers an innovative control measure", says Marcos Queiroz, marketing manager for insecticide products and innovations at Syngenta.
In addition to coffee, the product is recommended for various fruit crops, such as pumpkin, zucchini, garlic, eggplant, potatoes, onions, chayote, citrus, jiló, melon, watermelon, cucumber, peppers, okra and tomatoes.
