Sumitomo Chemical presents solutions for soybeans and sugarcane at Agrishow 2023

 Sumitomo Chemical participates in Agrishow 2023 with its hybrid solutions for agriculture. At the event, the public will have access to Excalia Max, the fungicide for soybeans, and the ProGibb and SumiMax solutions for sugar cane.

“The fair is a milestone for the State of São Paulo and Brazil. Our expectations are high in relation to the movement of people at our stand, we seek to be increasingly closer to rural producers so that we can exchange information, knowledge and take advantage of the opportunity to close deals”, highlights Luis Serafim, trade marketing manager at Sumitomo Chemical.

Excalia Max is a systemic fungicide par excellence that protects soybeans from the four most important diseases: Asian rust (Phakopsora pachyrhizi), target spot (Corynespora cassiicola), leaf blight (Cercospora kikuchii) and brown spot (Septoria glycines) . As a result of the last harvest, the use of Excalia Max increased the rural producer by around 2 bags of soybeans per hectare. 

Progibb is a growth regulator, and in sugarcane cultivation it acts effectively and sustainably, generating a significant increase in TCH (Tons of Stalks per Hectare), in addition to better stalk development and, consequently, increased directly on productivity and profitability. SumiMax is a selective herbicide with 2 modes of action, for the pre- and post-emergence management of weeds with broad and narrow leaves, for the humid and semi-humid season in sugarcane cultivation.
