Wheat values open 2023 down in Brazil
The scenario is linked to the high availability of the cereal after the record harvest in the country, which ended in December
Canarana (MT) will bring together the main agricultural solutions on the market aimed at soybean, corn and cotton producers. Located in the Araguaia Valley, the municipality hosts the Business and Technology Day (Dinetec) 2023, a fair that takes place between the 11th and 13th of January, being a showcase for innovative technologies in the field. Sumitomo Chemical is one of the exhibitors at the event.
“Our entire Vale regional team will be present, and we expect an audience of around 1.000 people. Sumitomo Chemical participates as one of the main exhibiting companies at the fair. Our stand is located in the technology showcase area”, explains Yuri Demidoff (photo below), Trade Marketing coordinator.
The company will present Excalia Max, a fungicide with high efficiency against Asian rust and target spot, the most destructive soybean diseases. The SOJA+ Program will also be demonstrated, in which two plant growth regulators are used: MaxCel, which induces the formation of more lateral stems for a better productive architecture of the plant, and ProGibb, which significantly reduces the abortion of flowers and pods, resulting in more grains and greater productivity.
The Seed Protection platform will also be present, which is made up of a complete portfolio of sustainable solutions for seed treatment, pest and disease control and increased grain productivity, such as Maestro FS insecticide, Aveo nematicide, Inside FS insecticide and MycoApply EndoFuse and MycoApply EndoMaxx, solutions aimed at optimizing soil fertilization, promoting greater longevity, health and sustainability.
For the sustainable management of caterpillars, the Abaday insecticide for soybeans and corn will be presented. Furthermore, for cotton cultivation, the growth regulator Promalin, which promotes increased productivity, and the acaricide Smite, selective and efficient in Integrated Pest Management (IPM), will be on display.
“We invite our customers, such as rural producers, consultancies, researchers and distributors, to honor this moment”, concludes Demidoff.
