When the producer is elevated to the protagonist of agribusiness, what stands out is the fact that he is the decision maker, the one who defines the next step towards profitable farming. To assist farmers in this challenge, Sumitomo Chemical launches the Decision insecticide (acetamiprid and fenpropathrin), with a broad spectrum of action for soybean, corn, cotton, among others. The launch is present at the company's stand at the Tecnoshow Comigo fair, in Rio Verde (GO), which runs until March 31st.

Insecticide Manager at Sumitomo Chemical, Suellen Drummond (photo below) explains that Decision's focus is on suckers and that the new product's biggest difference is that it can be applied during the flowering of the crop, without affecting pollinating insects, such as bees. This characteristic guarantees efficient use of the insecticide in integrated pest management (IPM).

“Sumitomo Chemical has a robust portfolio, including Legion, another insecticide to control suckers, and is now complementing its solution for these pests by introducing Decision. This way, the producer will have two options that guarantee high shock and residual power in the control of soybean and corn bugs, corn leafhoppers and cotton boll weevils”, explains Drumond.

Leadership

The manager of Sumitomo Chemical reinforces the importance of the producer - men and women - as protagonists for high productivity farming. So much so that Decision's poster boy is the actor and agronomist who played the character Tibério, in the soap opera Pantanal, Diogo Brito, personifying producers in decision-making and choosing the best solutions.

“Farmers can count on an excellent, broad-spectrum product that will protect their crops and, consequently, their investment. Decision will exceed the producer’s expectations”, highlights Drumond.
