Webinar addresses citrus rootstocks suitable for Coastal Tabuleiros
"Citriculture on the Coastal Tablelands of Bahia and Sergipe: new rootstocks" is the theme of the webinar that Embrapa is holding on August 25
One of the main responsible for compromising soybean productivity, nematodes – worms that remain in the soil and attack plant roots – are present in all producing regions of Brazil. Due to its great influence on grain performance, Sumitomo Chemical launches Aveo, a biological solution with a broad spectrum of control and a long period of action for seed treatment. Aveo, according to company studies, promotes an increase in soybean crop productivity of around 5%.
The new BioRacionais solution has an exclusive strain and has the attributes of safety, high efficacy and phytotonic effect (greater root volume and weight, increased biomass and better initial plant start-up).
Sumitomo Chemical's BioRacionais Marketing Manager for Latin America, Eduardo Figueiredo, explains that Aveo is a biological with FS formulation, specific for seed treatment, generating greater adhesion of the product to the seed and ease of use. “Our solution has the lowest dose on the market, 15 ml to 20 ml for 100 kg of seeds”.
Eduardo adds that Aveo is effective against the main nematodes that cause damage to soybean crops, in addition to providing the plant with better establishment, as it increases root production, improves initial start-up and, therefore, better productivity. “In market development work, we saw a 5% increase in productivity where we used Aveo.”
The company's novelty is also characterized by a shelf life of up to three years, a factor that few biological products on the market achieve. Additionally, it allows for ease of use and mixing.
Aveo arrives on the market to complement the Seed Protection platform, making the protection of the productive potential of seeds even more comprehensive. The new nematicide joins the insecticides Inside and Maestro. “The association Maestro, Inside and Aveo provides control efficiency, sustainability and profitability”, explains the Products and Seed Treatment manager, Leonardo Ferreira. Maestro is a solution that combats soil-chewing pests. Inside attacks aerial part suckers.
“Expertise in formulation technology is a hallmark of Sumitomo Chemical, both for biological and chemical products. This fact ensures that the products in the Sumitomo Chemical portfolio are of higher quality, bringing convenience to the farmer”, highlights Ferreira.
