Sugarcane production in Brazil could register an increase of 3,4% in the 22/23 harvest compared to the previous one, totaling 598,3 million tons. This data from the National Supply Company (Conab) is due to the increase in productivity, especially in the Southeast region. The positive scenario reinforces the importance of information, technology and efficient solutions that further boost the sector, and this is what visitors to the Coplacampo fair will find at the Sumitomo Chemical stand between February 27th and March 2nd, in Piracicaba (SP).

Held by the São Paulo State Sugarcane Planters Cooperative (Coplacana), Coplacampo 2023 will feature Sumitomo Chemical as an exhibitor, which will present a selection of innovations to increase the performance and yield of sugarcane fields.

Starting with the ProGibb physiological regulator, which aims to increase TCH (ton of sugarcane per hectare), improving stalk development and resulting in a direct effect on productivity. In addition, the company will present SumiMax, a herbicide with two modes of action, for the pre- and post-emergence management of broad and narrow-leaved weeds, for the humid and semi-humid season in sugarcane.

For soybeans, Sumitomo Chemical will be presenting the fungicide Excalia Max, which protects the oilseed's productive potential against Asian rust and target spot. Absorbed quickly by the leaves, Excalia Max is a systemic product par excellence and contains Indiflin, an unprecedented molecule that the company brings to the market.

The SOJA+ Program will also be present at Coplacampo, complete physiological management for high soybean productivity in which the plant growth regulators MaxCel are used, which induces the formation of more lateral stems for a better productive architecture of the plant, and ProGibb, which reduces significantly abort flowers and pods, resulting in more grains and higher productivity.

Coplacampo is Coplacana's biggest event and will take place from 8am to 17pm, at the Grains Unit, located on Rodovia do Açúcar, Km 157, Taquaral, in Piracicaba (SP).
