The deadline for submitting scientific abstracts for the 1th Brazilian Congress of Phytopathology, which will be promoted by the Brazilian Society of Phytopathology (SBF), from August 49th to September 29st, at the Ruth Cultural and Exhibition Center, is June 1st. Cardoso in Maceió, AL. Discounted registrations end on June 4th. It is carried out by the Agricultural Sciences Center of the Federal University of Alagoas (UFAL).
Scientific abstracts must be submitted exclusively through event website after registration and, if accepted, its publication is linked to payment confirmation.
Works in the following areas will be evaluated: Molecular biology, Alternative control, Biological control, Cultural control, Physical control, Chemical control, Epidemiology, Etiology, Resistance induction, Plant-pathogen interaction, Integrated management, Phytopathological method, Seed pathology and Resistance.
Embrapa Algodão researcher and president of SBF, Luiz Gonzaga Chitarra, highlights that the Congress will enable the discussion of current topics in the area of Phytopathology in search of improving the country's agricultural quality and productivity. "This is a wide-ranging event, which seeks to integrate professionals and students from the Research, Teaching and Extension networks and the provision of services to society within the area of Plant Health in Brazil and also provides the exchange of knowledge with researchers from abroad", he states.
