Adama launches Cheval herbicide, which combines post-emergence and residual action for soybeans, corn and cotton
Product brings flexibility of use at different times of the production cycle and allows resistance management with its formulation
Studies carried out since the 2000s on application technology have shown that, to control early blight, spray volumes of around 75 mL/m³ in orchards for juice production and around 100 mL/m³ in orchards intended for fresh fruit production are the most efficient in reducing disease and damage caused to production.
In the 1990s, when early blight was reported in São Paulo, spray volumes greater than 200 mL/m³ were used for control. Afterwards, with the results of the first works, the volume was reached at 125 mL/m³. And finally, in the 2010s, it was already possible to use a volume of 75 mL/m³, which represented reductions in the amount of water of more than 40% compared to what was used in previous decades.
