Tribute takes place on June 6, at the Sylvio Moreira Citriculture Center, in Cordeirópolis (SP)
This Tuesday (4), agents linked to the storage sector will meet in Curitiba, Paraná, for the first meeting of the year of the Brazilian Association of Official Storage Companies (ABCAO) to discuss topics related to the sector. In the afternoon, among the scheduled lectures, the president of the National Supply Company (Conab), Newton Araújo Silva Júnior, will present data and information relating to the storage scenario in the country.
The presentation will address the spatial distribution of warehouses in Brazil, at national level and also by state, the average size of storage units, Brazilian production compared to the country's static storage capacity and the number of existing accredited warehouses. The lecture will also discuss the current scenario of Conab's warehouse network, based on billing data, and will provide details on the proposed resizing of the Company's warehouses.
Another aspect foreseen in the exhibition are the partnership proposals between Conab and public and private entities, which have, among other objectives, to promote technological exchange and the exchange of knowledge, in order to promote and expand the role of agricultural intelligence of the state-owned company .
The meeting will feature other speakers, including the president of ABCAO, Johnny Hunter Nogueira, and representatives of the Paraná Cooperative System (Ocepar). In the morning, all members of the meeting also carry out a technical visit to the Pinhais warehouse, owned by the Agricultural Development Company of Paraná (Codapar), specialized in the storage and logistics of snacks and school supplies.
