Producer adopts agroecological techniques and celebrates the cultivation of vines in Baixada Litorânea, RJ
With the aim of building and sharing knowledge for efficient and productive agriculture, it was held by Stoller “Specialists in productivity”, on the 23rd and 24th, in Campinas (SP). The event was attended by more than 120 experts from across the country.
The meeting was opened by the CEO of Stoller do Brasil, Rodrigo Oliveira. "I am proud and happy to bring together the country's main renowned experts to exchange experiences and information about the future and challenges of Brazil's productivity in favor of the evolution and development of agriculture. We know that it is not possible to evolve alone, so we invest in technology, in research and especially in people. And, you consultants have the fundamental role of giving credibility to the sector through your constant presence in the field, knowledge in the crops and relationship with the product. Together, we can transform this sum of knowledge into innovation with the purpose of impact the world with high-excellence agriculture.”
Market Development Manager, Maurício Rossi, discussed the history of a company that has always been guided by research, innovation and evolution in the segment, in addition to highlighting the launches for this year. “We operate with a focus on three pillars: physiology, nutrition and biologicals. In the last year of work alone, the company carried out more than 250 surveys for more than 20 different cultures with more than 105 researchers in partnership with 120 institutions", explained Rossi.
The innovative format of the event allowed consultants to select the lectures they wanted to attend according to their points of interest, making it a productive event for everyone present.
Lectures and experts
In addition to Marcos Antônio dos Santos, from Rural Clima, who spoke about Climate and its impacts on Agricultural Production and Glauco Monte, from FCStone, grain market, other names of great importance in this scenario spoke at the event such as professors from ESALQ/USP Dr. Antônio L. Fancelli, Dr. Ederaldo José Chiavegato, debating grain nutrition and physiology and cotton management respectively and Dr. João Domingos Rodrigues (UNESP) on Essential Factors for High Yields and Leandro Grassi Freitas (UFV) who presented Nematodes: Challenges and Solutions. The topic Physiology of coffee production under abiotic stresses was addressed by professor Dr. Cláudio Pagotto Ronchi (UFV), while on Application Technology with Luis César Pio, from Herbicat.
The CEO of Stoller do Brasil highlights the importance of this event. “In addition to presenting and sharing trends and reality in the country’s fields, we get even closer to consultants to increasingly invest in efficient and high-performance technological solutions and produce higher quality food in all crops, contributing to Brazilian agribusiness”, explains Rodrigo Oliveira.
