Steyr Traktoren has released several Absolut CVT models. The new tractors consist of five Absolut CVT models, from the 6200 to the 6280, with the last three numbers representing the unincreased maximum power output of their Stage V 6,7-liter FPT NEF six-cylinder engines. the entire range, with a maximum torque of 11 Nm at 1.250 rpm in the larger model. These products are not available in Brazil.

According to information from the company, at the heart of the changes to the tractors is a new cabin that is 8% larger internally, giving the operator more space to move around and extra space for storage. The interior features premium finishing materials. With 11% more glass, better vision means greater safety. The S-Comfort suspension coordinates the damping of the front axle, cab and rear hitch to minimize shock transfer. This is complemented by a high-spec seat with side suspension, cooling and heating, plus a swiveling top back.

A new Multicontroller armrest features configurable controls and hydraulic valves, a push-and-turn encoder knob and a new 1200-inch Infomat 12 tablet-style touchscreen through which ISOBUS-compatible implements can be controlled. The new Absolut CVT models also feature the Tractor Implement Management (TIM) feature, which allows a PTO-driven implement, such as a baler, to automatically control the tractor's forward speed for maximum consistency and operational efficiency.

Steyr says the tractor changes include the ability to customize CVT operation, allowing settings to be adjusted and recalled according to preferences and task requirements, saving time and making operation easier.

S-Fleet telematics enables remote monitoring and automatic transfer of data and records over the air, which are accessible via the farm PC via the mysteyr.com web portal or the S-Fleet mobile app. It also monitors the location and performance of the machine to, for example, meet refueling needs. Additionally, instructions such as field maps are also sent to the tractor from a smart device/PC. A five-year telematics subscription is provided as standard.

If the owner allows, the Steyr dealer can also monitor S-Fleet equipped tractors, which can help identify any early warning signs of machine problems and provide remote access for maintenance through S-Fleet Remote Support. This also allows dealers to remotely update software if necessary and provide in-cab operator support via S-Fleet Remote View, connecting directly to the Infomat 1200 screen.

On the latest Absolut CVT tractors, diesel capacity has increased by 15%, the new tank also incorporates space for a tool box to minimize clutter in the cabin. An integral hand washing tank is optional. The taller 2,05m rear tire option (710/70 R42) introduced on the Absolut 6280 CVT is now also available on the 6220 and 6240 models, providing a 15% larger footprint for greater traction, flotation and load capacity.
