FPT Industrial brings biomethane energy generator to FIEE Smart Future
Concept symbolizes energy transformation, reinforcing the CNH Industrial brand's commitment to using alternative fuels and preserving the environment
According to a survey carried out by SP Ventures, a venture capital fund specialized in agribusiness, in partnership with Centro Universitário FEI and the startups Agtech Garage, Usina, Esalqtec and Agrihub, there are around 338 Agtechs mapped in Brazil.
With an eye on several promising niches in the sector, they offer solutions for property, crop or animal management, as well as biotechnology and bioenergy. While some projects become virtual applications, others become physical products from agricultural stores, but regardless of their final format, they all have a common objective: minimizing environmental impacts (without compromising productivity) and helping producers in decision-making.
Even if by leaps and bounds, improving Brazil's infrastructure, such as connectivity, mobile penetration, satellite images and digital literacy, has been fundamental to the development of the country's agtech ecosystem.
Intergated
Created to be part of the transformation of Brazilian agribusiness through precision technologies that help livestock farmers in decision-making, the startup has solutions that allow livestock farmers to monitor in real time how much the animal is eating, drinking water and weighing itself. per day, in addition to early diagnosis of possible diseases and promoting the genetic improvement of animals for feed efficiency.
Agrize
Rice is one of those foods that cannot be missed on the Brazilian table. However, this familiarity with the grain goes far beyond consumption, it also makes the country the largest producer outside Asia with cultivation extending over 1,96 million hectares. As a result, several actions seek to further improve the results of rice farming in the country.
An example of this is the solution presented by Agrize, a startup from Santa Catarina that is currently undergoing acceleration at Spin. Created in 2015, it was created with the aim of making farmers' lives easier through technology. "What we did was ask if there was a safer and more efficient method of protecting crops?", explains Igor Luduwichack da Silva, CEO of Agrize and production engineer. Thus, the innovative method of agricultural spraying emerged, replacing the tractor with a drone. The solution guarantees agility and safety, as the application of agricultural pesticides occurs remotely, not leaving the operator exposed to poisons. And it's not just rice farmers who benefit from the measure. Consumers are less likely to eat rice with pesticides.
agrosmart
Leading digital agriculture platform in Latin America, delivers agronomic intelligence to different parts of the production chain, through information and recommendations that optimize results, contributing to more sustainable and climate-resilient agriculture. The system eliminates the need for internet or cell phone coverage in the field to send data to the producer, all information is collected and integrated into a single platform, simplifying access to information and management of the farm or production chain.
Revegetation blanket
The innovative agricultural technique, composed of a CNC Machine, produces a Revegetation Blanket with application in precision agriculture, recovery of degraded areas and landscaping. With precise high-production equipment that deposits and anchors pelleted seeds in dry, self-sufficient and biodegradable geotextile blankets, the startup accelerated by InovAtiva Brasil 2016.1 helps to recover poor soils, reduce input costs and improve the precision in the nutrition of each seed and climatic variations. Furthermore, the technology provides high efficiency throughout the production chain, mainly in reducing production costs, balanced distribution of nutrients, speed of cultivation and protection of the crop against adverse weather conditions.
AS 31
The startup accelerated by the InovAtiva Brasil 2016.1 program's mission is to promote the health and well-being of the population through the development of colorimetric sensors called QualiSticker. These intelligent sensors monitor in parallel the quality of products and the efficiency of the cold chain of the food industry in the meat sector during transport and storage. With this, we help maintain product quality, thus reducing the high rate of losses and waste.
