Startups can now sign up for Smart Farm AgroBIT Mapa Conecta

Registration for Smart Farm Mapa Conecta is now open. The event is an initiative of the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply (Mapa) with the aim of connecting startups with investors and accelerators in order to scale their businesses with solutions for the grain production chain. It is an ideal space for networking, visibility and business opportunities in the sector. 

In partnership with Sebrae/PR, Governança AgroValley, FB Group, Sociedade Rural do Paraná and Go Agritech, and with support from Cotidiano Aceleradora, the challenge will take place in a hybrid format and will be part of the program of one of the biggest innovation events for agriculture in the country, AgroBIT Brasil, to be held on November 8th and 9th, 2022, at the Governador Ney Braga Exhibition Park, in Londrina (PR).

The challenges of the call, which seeks solutions inside and outside the gate, are associated with two main areas of interest: Green Techs and Food Techs. Within the first are sustainable soil management; waste recycling; water purification; CO2 reduction; clean energy; conservation of natural resources; environmental protection; recovery of degraded areas; use of technology and science to create environmentally friendly products.

For Food Techs, the themes are: digital technology; e-commerce platform; automation in farming; Artificial intelligence; reduction in water consumption during harvesting; bioinputs; climate; transport and storage with intelligent packaging; development of products with plant-based proteins and new ingredients.

The pre-selected startups will have to present their pitches to a judging panel made up of technicians and investors on November 8, 2022. From there, three finalists will be classified, who will have the opportunity to present the solutions to all AgroBit participants during closing on November 9th.
