In April of this year, the MyFarm software was launched in Ribeirão Preto, for managing grain and cotton farms. The platform can be used on a computer or mobile devices, providing information such as harvest results, agricultural activities with heat maps, machinery control, financial management, inventory control of products used in farming and the average production, showing which plot is the most productive. In addition, it helps to generate the Rural Producer's Cash Book and maintains compliance with NF-e and MDF-e issuance. MyFarm was presented to the public at Agrishow 2019 and since then has helped rural producers to improve business management. Next week, the startup will also participate in the 4th National Congress of Agribusiness Women, in São Paulo, on the 8th and 9th of October.

Technology and management for agricultural women

In the first nine months of MyFarm's market, it was found that 30% of farm managers using the software are women. This number reflects research carried out by the Brazilian Agribusiness Association (ABAG), which also points out that around 30% of management positions are occupied by women.

In this scenario, the startup decided to take its technology and management to the event, which will have the theme “ACT – Global Action: Network Integration”, addressing issues relevant to agribusiness. The product will be in the startup zone, at stand 17, where visitors to the event will be able to learn about the benefits of using the system for farm management.

These improvements are proven by Lillian Martins Rodrigues, financial manager of the Gustavo Goellner agricultural company in Primavera do Leste-MT. “MyFarm has greatly improved people management and decision-making in the company. We also noticed a reduction in rework and gained a broad view of what we are going to harvest in the harvest, before it starts, giving us the cost of farming” highlights Lilian.

MyFarm's business agent, Márcia Lima, who will be one of the startup's representatives at the congress, highlights that women have been overcoming challenges and breaking prejudices by taking on the management of agricultural businesses. “Our clients are adept at new technologies and are always looking for profitability for their business. MyFarm gives them both. Women in agriculture are increasingly seeking more operational efficiency and during the 4th CNMA we want to show the best way to achieve this objective”, highlights Márcia Lima.
