How to deal with the incidence of aphids in sorghum
Previously restricted to sugarcane crops, the Melanaphis sacchari aphid is now also a reality in sorghum crops
The Imperador 3.0 is one of Stara's launches that is self-propelled and combines three functions in a single machine. It is a sprayer, distributor and pneumatic seeder, which makes it possible to carry out all three operations in a single track in the field.
To more efficiently meet the needs of rural producers, self-propelled vehicles have evolved. The design of the Imperador 3.0 is more modern, robust and bold, with new colors and cabin. The operator's visibility is increased with the new lighting system and the four-mirror system.
When spraying, the Imperador 3.0 has the Nozzle to Nozzle System, which automatically turns off the spray tip when the Topper 5500 controller identifies an area where the spray solution has already been applied. This system provides the most precise and efficient application, saving up to 5% of agricultural pesticides.
The self-propelled vehicle also has the Continuous Recirculating System, a technology that keeps the syrup in constant circulation in the pipes and reservoir. This makes the mixture more homogeneous and with the exact concentration of the pesticide during application. The spray system is cleaner, without residue from previous applications and the components last longer.
Work carried out at night also benefits from the Blue Beam lighting system. Directed to the bars, it allows broad visibility during applications and provides the operator with better monitoring of the work, avoiding failures and contributing to operational efficiency.
The Imperador 3.0 has the Ponte Verde pneumatic sowing system. In the new version, assembling and disassembling the system is easy, through the new quick coupling system, bringing practicality to work in the field.
New autopilot and Intelligent 4-Wheel Turn
The new autopilot for the Imperador 3.0 is the TD3. It has better performance, is robust and has a shorter response time. The TD3 reduces failures and overruns, reducing crushing in the field, as it makes it possible to control traffic for the next jobs.
Another new feature is Intelligent 4-Wheel Turning, which allows a 42% smaller turning radius. As a result, crushing in borders and maneuvers is reduced by up to 45%, improving crop results.
