With the biggest part of domestic demanders away from purchases, and producers moving forward with harvest, the volume of corn available in the national spot has been increasing. Therefore, according to Cepea employees, some buyers who needed rebuild stocks, they took the opportunity to negotiate the cereal in the last few days, but, in the Overall, liquidity remained low.

In this context, the ESALQ/BM&FBovespa Indicator (Campinas region – SP) fell 3,7% between August 27th and September 3rd, closing at R$ 92,26/sc of 60 kg in Friday, 3rd, the lowest level since July 2nd. Only in the south of the country is that prices registered a slight increase, due to low availability.
