Delivering agility in the subscription, issuance, claim and inspection processes, in addition to offering the market one of the most agile and intuitive methods, is the objective of Sancor Agro Inteligente. The project is unprecedented in the Brazilian agricultural insurance sector and is structured into five distinct stages. The initiative will involve an investment of more than R$3 million.
The first step was to parameterize the Broker Portal in which the underwriting area queries and validates policyholder and risk data with the help of a solution that offers a robust decision engine combined with flexible access to many sources of information. “Using this solution allows the company to better assess the risk of the insured area and also, the broker, when filling out the information on the platform, can already see if the client is eligible or if there are any restrictions in the proposal”, he explains. the agribusiness superintendent of Sancor Seguros, Roberto Udo.
The second step was to speed up the inspection process with the use of a tool installed on mobile devices, which allows monitoring, from start to finish, of the entire service that takes place in the field. “The company has more than 80 companies providing risk inspection services throughout Brazil. With this application, our partner goes into the field, fills out the necessary reports, takes the photos and the client signs the proposal, all done on the spot, without having to wait for the surveyor to return to his base to fill out the paperwork”, highlights Udo.
As part of the project, since the beginning of December 2019, the Company has opened a new service channel for the Agro sector, Sancor Agiliza. Brokers will be able to use it for requests and questions regarding commercial demands, underwriting, finance, claims and inspections in an agile and fast way. “Sancor Agiliza is our new ally in fast and efficient delivery to our partners”, explains the commercial superintendent of Sancor Seguros, Rosimário Pacheco.
There is also a solution created for use by the insurer's technical area where it monitors the performance of insured crops. Sancor Seguros invested in the development of a digital solution that integrates remote sensing with climate data. “The more we know our insured, the better the proposal can be prepared to meet their needs, after all we know that agricultural insurance is a very specific product”, says the commercial superintendent.
The last stage of this project is in the underwriting and claims area. As the executive explains, the company hired BPMS software (Business Process Management Suite or System), which operates in the area of process management and service automation. “We automate the process. Everything was designed to speed up the delivery of the product, both in terms of the broker's work and the arrival of the policy in the hands of the customer", says Udo, and concludes: "We constantly seek to develop improvement processes for our customers' experience. with Sancor Seguros and our partners, which is why we are the third largest insurer in this sector with more than R$200 million in claims paid in 2019.”
